Friday, September 12, 2008 6:30pm Registration and Networking Reception Ray Mears Room - Thompson Boling Arena 7:15pm Professional Development - Leadership and Generations in the Workplace & Raising you Cash IQ Ray Mears Room - Thompson Boling Arena 9:00pm Young Alumni Social Downtown Grill and Brewery Saturday, September 13, 2008 9:30am Pre-Game Tailgate Party Tyson Alumni House 12:30pm Tennessee vs. UAB Neyland Stadium The Fall 2008 Young Alumni Weekend is now set for the Tennessee football home opening weekend, September 12-13, 2008. We are excited to offer another professional development session as well as a networking reception on Friday, September 12th. Tonya Hinch, 1985 UT grad will present topics such as Raising Your Cash IQ coupled with the latest tips on how to handle Generations in the Workplace. Tonya is a world renowned public speaker and New York City executive who spent many years of her career with Proctor & Gamble. The next morning, we will host a pre-game tailgate at the Tyson Alumni House in preparation for the Vols home opening 12:30pm kickoff in Neyland Stadium! A full breakfast buffet along with freshly made mimosas, bloody marys, and coffee, along with other drinks of choice will be included and available. Participants in the fall Young Alumni Weekend will also receive a game ticket with the "Weekend Package & Game Ticket" option above. In addition to the festivities available to all Young Alumni (graduates of the last decade), the Young Alumni Council will gather for their second meeting on Friday afternoon from Noon-4:00pm in the McKenzie-Lawson Athletic Center board room.

The mission of the Young Alumni Program at The University of Tennessee is to serve alumni of the institution’s flagship campus in Knoxville through programming, community service, and social opportunities. These opportunities assist alumni in their transition from a collegiate to professional career and engage them for a lifetime relationship with their alma mater.
